What is MADE?
MADE aims to keep manufacturing in Denmark, through the development of high technology solutions such as robotics, vision systems, 3D printing and building on the strong capabilities of Danish employees, who are team players, innovative, and highly skilled.
A healthy manufacturing industry in Denmark is critical for Denmark’s ability to maintain its position as a leader of innovation and is the foundation for Denmark’s long-term economic prosperity.
Manufacturing is the source of new ideas, solutions and knowledge that are the basis of new products and services.
The consequence of outsourcing to low cost regions is that the knowledge, and infrastructure required for new products and services is lost, making it difficult to create and manufacture new products.
MADE is a national collaboration of Small, Medium and Large Danish Manufacturing companies, the five Danish Engineering Universities and two Technical Institutes. Together with the confederation of Danish Industry and three foundations.
